We are seeking for Senior Business Partner, Financial Planning & Analysis for Seoul, Korea location who acts as Finance lead within NSF Emerging Markets. Senior Business Partners provide financial and operational analysis, drive business strategy, deliver proactive information through analytics, and lead financial business processes. Senior Business Partners work closely with the business to accurately forecast financial results, facilitate and drive data-driven decisions, develop, and implement strategy, and work together as partners on proposals and special projects. Perform various financial reporting and forecasting analyses in the areas of profit planning, cost containment, capital expenditures, and other areas.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Drive and support the forecast, budget and business plan processes within the region
- Leverage analytics to enable informed decision-making and increase operational effectiveness. Develop reports that provide key financial information to drive growth and profitability. Collaborate with the business / regions to establish common global KPI's
- Develop financial models, business cases and pricing recommendations to meet financial targets within the business units.
- Support the Senior Team in developing strategy to achieve financial targets, both short-term and long-term.
- Perform monthly business unit P&L analysis and report to Senior Team. Conduct research on major variances, and work with business leaders as needed to implement financial strategies or stronger controls to improve financial performance.
- Serve as a corporate financial liaison to Regional leaders, and coordinate budgeting and reporting
- Train and educate business and operations leaders on the financial aspects of their businesses, reading their profit and loss statement, interpreting financial and operational metrics, etc.
- Participate in regional strategy sessions and in core meetings to support assigned business areas.
- Support and engage in continuous improvement efforts. Work with the Accounting Team to develop value-add reports and templates.
- Support month-end close with bridge reporting and collaborate with Accounting Team to improve month-end process.
- Support the due diligence process and integration for new acquisitions.
- Work with new business “start-ups” within NSF to develop financial modeling and ROI projections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering
- Minimum five (5) years related finance experience including in-depth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts. At least three (3) years in leadership role.
- Strong fluency in English
- Excellent attention to detail, customer service orientation, and timely follow through.
- Ability to interface with business leaders outside of accounting/finance and comfort presenting to senior leaders of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to recognize and resolve issues.
- Strategic thinking, leadership, and influencing abilities.
- High energy and self-motivated person.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office and PowerBI) and knowledge of accounting, ERP, and finance modeling systems.
- Presenting data insights to non-data users is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with managing teams and supporting leaders in international environments.
- MBA with a focus in finance
- Experience with Oracle Financials
- Experience with budget and reporting software (Hubble, Planful, Oracle, Tableau)
- Advanced Excel skills (Dashboard, Modeling, Macros)
- QL (data Warehouse) (Snowflake preferable)
- ELT – Data integration process – (Extract , Load , Transfer)
- Visualization tool, PowerBI preferable.
- Experience in managing large and complex datasets, combining datasets from different systems into one Curated/Optimised layer.
- Great stakeholder management, experience in extracting requirements from senior leadership.
- Project management skills.
