Enhanced Comprehensive Asset Management System Operator/Technician/Automated Maintenance Environmental Technician Organizational Level

TASK DESCRIPTION: This position will support Enhanced Comprehensive Asset Management System (ECAMS) information processing and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of the ECAMS Processing Unit (EPU). Upon installation and operation of the Automated Maintenance Environment (AME) system, this position will support AME information processing and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of the AME Hardware. TASK REQUIREMENT: 1. Maintain aircraft and engine databases by processing source documents (NAVFLIRS, Visual Information Display System/Maintenance Action Form): make entries into ECAMS and/or AME in accordance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series. 2. Process Life Usage Index (LUI) data, Maintenance System Data Reports archiving, software updates, system backups and save/restore procedures. 3. Generate daily, weekly and monthly engine and aircraft reports, as required. 4. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of the EPU and/or the AME server and client stations and associated network hardware and cables. 5. Ensure LUI tracking reports are provided to verify against applicable engine Aeronautical Engine Service Records prior to engine acceptance or transfer. 6. Screen all Visual Information Display System/Maintenance Action Form and Naval Forward Looking Infrared Radar System and make entries into ECAMS and/or AME ground station. 7. Ensure removal or installation of all applicable components is recorded in ECAMS and/or AME for tracking purposes. 8. Support on-the-job training and cross training of Kuwait Air Force personnel.
