Position – Senior Executive- Proposals, Process Management & R&D

Location – Puritas -Head Office- Colombo

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operation of laboratory functions and activities, maintaining relevant standards.
• Plan, supervise, and manage all testing & commissioning works within stipulated project timelines, and hand over completed projects to clients.
• Ensure training of client operating personnel upon successful commissioning and handover of plants.
• Develop the talents and skills of subordinates and peers to enhance competency in carrying out tasks and delegate work to key staff.
• Support the planning and design of treatment processes, finalizing optimized treatment systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, and for O&M activities.
• Carry out optimized costings for project proposals to meet the company's quality and financial objectives.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems and related documentation.
• Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical & Process Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in water and wastewater treatment/ environmental engineering.
• Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in of water and wastewater treatment processes, process design, testing & commissioning, trouble shooting and system optimization.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations, ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead teams and work effectively with clients, consultants and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent command of English and proficiency in MS Office.
