Key purpose of the Job
The Senior Fabric Technologist is responsible for executing fabric technology processes for RM development of assigned customer accounts, including mill evaluations, technical/bulk feasibility risk assessments, fabric testing, customer approvals, and supply/profitability improvement initiatives. The role also ensures compliance with Health & Safety guidelines, instructions, and organizational protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing fabric technology processes for raw material (RM) development, including mill evaluations, risk assessments, fabric testing, customer approvals, supporting bulk production through technical inputs and more.
- Implement assigned functional initiatives for fabric development, including supply, SRM, profitability improvement.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve functional objectives.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering , NDT or HND in Textile and apparel technology or any other relevant stream
Experience
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the Fabric Technology function, with strong technical knowledge of raw materials and fabric technology processes.
