Driver / GM - Driver

As a GM's Driver, you play an important role in supporting the General Manager by providing professional, reliable, and timely transportation services. You are responsible for ensuring the General Manager reaches every destination safely and punctually, while maintaining the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and service.

From business meetings and official engagements to airport transfers and other transportation requirements, you ensure every journey is handled with care and professionalism. As a GM's Driver, you are not simply behind the wheel – you are a trusted representative of the hotel, creating a seamless experience through your punctuality, professionalism, local knowledge, and commitment to exceptional hospitality.

• Executive Transportation: Safely and punctually transport the General Manager to meetings, business appointments, hotel events, airport transfers, and other official engagements.
• Professional & Discreet Service: Provide a high level of professional, courteous, and discreet service to the General Manager while maintaining strict confidentiality regarding schedules, conversations, and business matters.
• Schedule & Route Management: Plan and coordinate efficient routes based on the General Manager’s schedule, traffic conditions, and last-minute changes to ensure timely arrivals.
• Vehicle Care & Maintenance: Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, presentable, and roadworthy condition. Conduct routine checks and coordinate servicing, repairs, and maintenance as required.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, road safety requirements, and hotel policies. Ensure the vehicle is operated safely and responsibly at all times.
• Executive Assistance: Assist the General Manager with luggage, documents, personal belongings, and other reasonable transportation-related requirements when required.
• Coordination & Communication: Maintain effective communication with the General Manager, Security, Front Office, and other relevant departments regarding transportation arrangements and schedule changes.
• Trip & Vehicle Records: Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, and other vehicle-related activities.
• Professional Representation: Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills while representing the hotel and supporting the General Manager.
• Additional Support: Carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned by the General Manager or management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

• Proven background as a professional driver, ideally in hospitality or VIP/executive transport.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of local routes, traffic laws, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication ability with a discreet, professional demeanor.
• Able to manage time efficiently and respond to last-minute schedule changes.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
