We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to execute the strategic plan drawn up for environmental sustainability, ensuring the organization remains environmentally responsible whilst achieving its business objectives and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sustainability Initiatives - Visit internal SBU’s and identify sustainability projects that need to be implemented whilst, ensuring that the following activities are conducted in a timely and an effective manner:
  • Determine the scope of the project and
  • Identify relevant venders and raise quotations
  • Obtain approval from relevant persons
  • Forward, handover the project details to the relevant SBU
  • Monitor its progress, providing necessary feedback
• Take responsibility for the payments directed to the sustainability team by liaising with external vendors, receiving invoices and forward payment details to the Finance team.
• Analyze the performance of each plant divisionally, on environmental sustainability initiatives by collecting the Plant Environmental Sustainability KPIs documents on a monthly basis whilst, facilitating the following activities:
  • Conduct MAS Actives Environmental Sustainability forum with plant Engineers once in two months
  • Identify performance gaps and discuss same with the team in order to eliminate, Minimize such deviations
  • Recognize best practices, processes and know-how and share same with the rest of the team
  • Liaise with legal authorities such as BOI, Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Central Environmental Authority (CEA) with regard to sustainability initiative approvals and reports pertaining to performances and indices on same
  • Report the Nike Sustainable Manufacturing Performance Data pertaining to Environmental Sustainability in an accurate and timely manner on a monthly basis to Nike
  • Conduct trainings on Environmental Sustainability for plant Sustainability Champions across the MAS Active group, ensuring they possess the required knowledge and skills in this regard
  • Ensure all SBUs are in alignment with the MAS Holdings Sustainability Assessment Tool (Sustainability Calibration Tool) and are ready for the assessments
  • Ensure the effective operation of the EMS (Energy Monitoring System) across the Division

Knowledge and Skills:

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Facilities Management.
• 1-2 years' experience in similar capability.
• Strong Presentation and communication skills.
