Key Responsibilities
- Execute new sales orders by uploading all required data to the system, ensure availability of raw material and pricing data to ensure smooth production process.
- Reduce current RM inventory stock levels and maintain min-max reorder levels for standard articles (controlling of all raw material stock categories within its target levels, whilst ensuring required materials in required quantities are supplied in a timely manner to facilitate smooth production)
- Check and monitor order status with the planning team in order to forecast/source raw materials required for future bulk production.
- Coordinate/liaise with the plant management accountant and update yarn price changes in order to error proof the accuracy in the SAP system once in 6 months (mid /year-end).
- Maintain adequate standard pattern yarn stocks to ensure the availability of stocks at any time for the production and reduce pattern yarn (standard and order specific) air freights in order to reduce air freight cost.
- Monitor monthly ageing/write off and scrapping (RM - yarn) stocks, ensure that the system is updated, report all details to finance, transfer agreed stocks to the relevant area and also control the quantum of written off stocks in order to ensure the cost to the organisation is reduced/controlled.
- Take corrective actions/initiatives collaboratively with suppliers in order to reduce lead time of the raw materials.
- Update weekly bulk rewinding plan along with the knitting planner in order to manage the production requirements and to effectively reduce unnecessary costs.
- As a member of the relevant KPI team, actively participate at all meetings and give constructive inputs/guidance in order for the organisation to improve the overall ratings, achieve the target and thereby the master plan/organisational goals.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
- Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following Group/ Company policies & procedures, best practices (where the Group/ Company policies and procedures are not defines), relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.
