Chinese - English Translator

Key Responsibilities:

· Accurately translate technical documents, software manuals, and Production-related content from Chinese to English and vice versa.

· Ensure the translated materials maintain the original meaning, technical accuracy, and coherence.

· Collaborate with the production team to comprehend complex technical terms and jargon to provide precise translations.

· Assist in interpreting discussions and meetings between Chinese and English-speaking professionals in the production domain.

· Review and proofread translated materials to maintain quality standards.

· Research and stay updated on the latest production terminologies and advancements to ensure accurate translations.

· Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

· Proven experience in translating technical documents, manuals, or related content will be advantageous.

· Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and grammar.

· Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple translation projects efficiently.

· Willingness to be transferred to other departments based on the operational requirements of the department.

Qualification and Experience:

· Degree / Diploma in Language (Chinese & English) or related field preferred.

· Related industrial experience (entry level) would be highly advantageous.

· A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.

· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
