IT Manager

Location: Luxembourg (preferred) or Munich, Berlin, Paderborn | Full-time | Willingness to travel required

Luxaviation Northern Europe, with offices in Luxembourg, Munich, Berlin and Paderborn, is part of the Luxaviation Group, one of the world’s leading providers of business aviation services, recognized for the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and driven IT Manager (m/f) to further develop our IT landscape and lead our cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously enhance the regional IT and cybersecurity strategy to support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and industry requirements, including Part-IS, NIS2, and relevant IT security requirements.
  • Lead, coordinate, and successfully deliver IT and cybersecurity projects across multiple entities within the Northern Europe region.
  • Oversee cybersecurity risk management, including risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and monitoring.
  • Support internal and external audits, security assessments, and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, operational units, and external service providers.
  • Ensure local implementation, adherence, and ongoing compliance with Group IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and operational procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate relationships with external IT partners and service providers
  • Promote digital innovation by supporting the implementation of AI solutions and broader digital transformation initiatives.

Note: This position is focused on IT governance, cybersecurity, project leadership, and strategic oversight. It is not a traditional Level 1 support or helpdesk role but requires strong stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and the ability to lead cross-functional IT initiatives.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Informatics, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in IT management / project lead, IT security, or IT governance roles
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, and IT compliance
  • Experience managing IT projects within international organizations
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, ideally within the aviation industry (e.g., Part-IS, EASA requirements), is an advantage
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • German and/or French language skills are considered an asset
  • Willingness to travel internationally
