Linux System Administrator

Please note that this is a generic position. There is currently no open requirement for this role. However, it is a profile frequently requested by our clients and regularly sought within Cronos Europa.

As a member of our Infrastructure & Operations team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting Linux environments, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical systems. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams while contributing to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Linux server environments.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and operational support.
  • Manage system upgrades, patching, and migrations.
  • Support containerized and virtualized infrastructures.
  • Develop automation solutions using Ansible and scripting tools.
  • Monitor system performance, security, and availability.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on infrastructure projects and service improvements.

Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration and automation tools.
  • Experience with container technologies and virtualization platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluency in English is required. French is a strong asset.
