Your Role:

To support the delivery of superior EMEA TA servicing through:

  • Overseeing the performance of Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), through relationship management and timely issue escalation to ensure TPAs are meeting or exceeding the agreed SLAs and are performing within a controlled and regulated environment.
  • Oversee and manage the relationship with internal delegates providing support and sign off through a local lens.
  • Managing key internal client relationships to ensure understanding of business requirements and ensure that TPAs are quick to meet any changing needs Invesco may have.
  • Ensuring open communication lines and manage relationships with Invesco Sales offices, Banking Providers and Key Trading Platforms; Specific line management of the TA Oversight function in relation to the Cross-Border Product Range;
  • Oversee the completion of various operational activities ensuring they are completed within procedures, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and guidance for regulatory, developmental, and other Projects working with TPAs, internal stakeholders and managing own teams’ participation to ensure successful and timely delivery
  • To perform first level of interrogation and identification of issues which require escalation to Luxembourg Conducting Officer for intervention and decision making.
  • To implement the strategic vision of Global Transfer Agency in delivering competitive, client-focused solutions that win in the global marketplace with innovative, secure, and efficient scale powered by a high-performing EMEA TA team.

What you will be doing:

  • To manage the day-to-day TA oversight team and manage regulatory & product developments/ changes ensuring TPAs adherence to regulatory and/or company standards and service levels (within the required timescale) and that Invesco continues to deliver an excellent level of customer service. To evidence the interventions, actions, decisions made by IMSA in guiding/instructing the TPA and internal support services (IIML).
  • Create excellent relationships/rapports with TPA’s, Service Providers and key business partners ensuring an active dialogue and working with them to ensure that the TA meets their requirements. Manage relations with TPAs, service providers, internal stakeholders & local offices to ensure excellent service is maintained.
  • Manage the oversight of internal delegates; ensure local procedures are in place, support in decision making and escalate exceptions to functional management and/or Luxembourg Conducting Officer as required. Produce and deliver required reporting to management forums.
  • Oversee the completion of any/ all operational activities that remain under Invesco TAs remit. Ensure all activities are completed to the required standard within agreed timescales, adhering to regulatory and procedural guidelines.
  • Active participation in industry forums when required to ensure that Invesco play a leading role in future industry/system developments. Input to industry and regulatory surveys, consultation papers and proposals.
  • To monitor overall performance against targets, incidents/breaches of regulations, standards and deadlines and significant complaints to ensure remedial action is taken as required to ensure future compliance. Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues for Invesco and TPAs
  • Effectively manage costs within the team through validation and authorisation of invoices and monitoring penalty trigger points on KPI’s. Contribute to the annual budgeting process and monthly reviews.
  • Responsible for ensuring the team holds the required product and regulatory knowledge to fulfil the roles and for identifying gaps/risks in knowledge/skills and resolving through adequate training, performance management, succession planning and recruitment.
  • To lead direct reports, providing direction and ensuring on-going development, including constructive and regular feedback regarding performance management, and embedding this culture across the team. Oversee the management of resource allocation within the team promoting efficiency, best practice, and maximum use of skills. Promote Invesco’s culture of diversity, trust, partnership, and effective decision making.
  • Ensure all activities are in line with Invesco’s Conduct principles

What you will bring:

  • Proven leadership and management of teams
  • Experience in the industry, with particular emphasis of managing TA and/or Oversight functions
  • Experience of monitoring systems processes and service standards
  • Experience of making sound business proposals in areas such as department structures, service standards, risk control and process improvement.
  • Experience of managing Service Providers and TPAs.
  • In depth knowledge of UCITS, SICAV & QIF/FCP & ETF regulations
  • Good general knowledge of systems and procedures as well as broad knowledge of how the TA work integrates with the company as a whole
  • An understanding of both the key similarities and differences between the Cross Border and UK (EMEA) functions and regulations governing this would be advantageous
  • Good knowledge of market in which the company is operating/funds are distributed, including market trends and relevant initiatives by competitors.
  • Understanding of project and people management principles/skills
  • Relevant business/professional qualifications or equivalent 3rd level education
  • Communication skills - adapting style to audience and including senior levels both internally and externally.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with business partners and external parties and to challenge where necessary.
  • Ability to manage and influence project outcomes
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills
