POSITION SUMMARY
The Restaurant Greeter is responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a positive first and last impression of the dining experience. This role supports the smooth operation of the restaurant by coordinating guest seating, maintaining dining room readiness, and assisting guests with professionalism and courtesy.
The Restaurant Greeter contributes to exceptional guest experiences by anticipating guest needs, communicating effectively with the service team, and ensuring compliance with company service, safety, and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience:
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Determine party size and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide any necessary assistance.
- Thank guests upon departure and encourage future visits.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Support guests with accessibility needs in accordance with company guidelines.
Dining Room Operations:
- Monitor table availability and coordinate seating flow.
- Ensure tables and place settings are clean, complete, and ready for service.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and seating configurations for groups and special events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and dining areas.
- Verify that menus are current, clean, and available in sufficient quantities.
Communication & Teamwork:
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Answer telephone calls professionally and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Collaborate with restaurant and hotel teams to ensure seamless guest service.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Safety & Compliance:
- Follow all health, safety, security, and company procedures.
- Report accidents, incidents, maintenance issues, or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Protect confidential information and company assets.

LANGUAGE & WORK AUTHORIZATION
- A good command of French and English is essential.
- Luxembourgish and/or German would be considered an asset.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Luxembourg at the time of application.
COMPENSATION
- Salary range: Minimum non-qualified gross annual. Final offer will depend on experience, qualifications and internal equity.
