FINANCE ASSOCIATE

We are looking for a Finance Associate for a position located in Casablanca and reporting to Entity Finance Manager N&WA.

What you will be doing:

Accounting

• Handle accounting transactions of JTI Morocco entities in accordance with IAS/IFRS & local requirements to ensure full compliance with local and JTI policies.
• Ensure consistency in accounting treatment and drives harmonization of processes across entities
• Review postings made for JTI Morocco entities by Global Business Service Center including AP, AR, IC revenues, manual accruals, cash…
• Account payables: Invoices submission, follow up of booking and payments, GRIR clearing
• Creation and monitoring of fixed assets
• Ensure the statutory closing in partnership with the external auditors
• Manage compliance related to inventory, assets, and other operational controls within a factory.

Planning & reporting

• Ensure month end closing process timely & accurately
• Assist in the preparation of the entity planning exercises.
• Ensure the preparation of internal reports (Cbcr, JCFC, Insurance…)

Others

• Support with other projects, as necessary
• Define continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures, and systems to meet company objectives

Required qualifications:

• Master degree in Accounting/Finance or other related field,
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience in accounting / finance in Big 4 audit firms or multinational corporate
• French & English full professional proficiency .
• Strong Knowledge of accounting software and reporting tools (e.g , SAP)
• Financial Process Optimization
• IFRS & Local GAAP Compliance
