Role Description

We are seeking a linguist with native (or near-native) fluency in Kachin to participate in a short-term language/dialect identification and labeling project. The linguist will be responsible for reviewing model outputs, identifying languages/dialects, and selecting the correct option from predefined responses.

Project Details:

• Language: Kachin
• Task Type: Language/dialect identification and labeling
• Description: The resource will review responses from two models and determine which model identified the proposed language correctly. Options include: none, first model, second model, both, or reject.
• Estimated Volume: 12 hours of work (to be confirmed by the Production team)
• Timeline: Immediate start with urgent delivery required
• Tools: Online annotation platform (Squirrel)

Requirements:

• Native (or near-native) fluency in Kachin

• Advanced level of English (to understand written instructions)

• Ability to work accurately and meet tight deadlines

• Must comply with project documentation, including:

  • Trade Compliance & Background Check
  • Acceptance of Objectionable Content Agreement (OCA)
