Responsibility

  • Identify and assess suitable vendors for IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Support the creation, tracking, and management of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Liaise with suppliers to request quotations, follow up on pricing, and monitor deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licences, and inventory levels.
  • Assist in tracking IT procurement spend to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Support the management of vendor contracts, renewals, and licensing agreements.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to understand technical specifications prior to purchase.
  • Monitor shipment status and coordinate timely receipt of IT equipment.
  • Maintain procurement databases and prepare basic reports on spend, vendors, and asset usage.

Profile

  • Minimum HSC qualification; currently studying towards an IT‑related qualification is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and multiple tasks effectively.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic problem‑solving ability and willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and basic computer applications.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well with cross‑functional teams
