YOUR TASKS
Coordinate and manage all on-site activities and
operations including maintenance, repair, cleaning, and security to ensure
the facility is safe, up to code, and fully operational (electrical system
supply, water system supply, pneumatic system supply, HVAC, fire
protection system, etcetera).
Develop and implement a facility management
program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements in
compliance with company standards.
Conduct and document regular facility inspections
to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to health and safety
regulations.
Manage and review service contracts and vendor
relationships to ensure facilities services meet company cost and quality
standards.
Forecast, allocate and supervise the annual
facility CAPEX budget and expenditures.
Respond to facility emergencies and be available
on-call to address urgent facility needs such as power outages, equipment
failures, etc.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and
regulations in facility management and propose strategic improvements if
necessary.
Manage the moving, adding, and changing of office
and lab space to meet company needs and ensure employee comfort and
productivity.
Oversee construction and renovation projects to
improve efficiency and ensure that facilities meet environmental, health,
and security standards, and comply with government regulations.
Implementation of all technical installations
(floors, clothes etc.) for ESD protection in accordance with specific
standards as ESD Coordinator.
Create and establish emergency preparedness plans
and update them regularly.
Provide technical support and training to staff
and other stakeholders regarding facility operations and safety
procedures.
Maintain accurate records of the condition of the
facility and other systems within the building.
Coordinate and plan essential central services
such as security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, and recycling
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's
degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field. Professional
certification in Facilities Management is a plus.
Minimum
of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or
related field.
Proficiency
in office software such as MS Office Suite and Facility management
software, preferable in SAP
Knowledge
of building maintenance, grounds upkeep, security, and cleaning
procedures.
Experience
with project management and supervision.
Strong
understanding of business finances and experience with budget preparation
and management.
Able
to interpret and understand complex technical data and blueprints.
Working
knowledge of local, state, and federal facility regulations.
Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills for effectively dealing with staff,
vendors, and suppliers.
Exceptional
problem-solving and decision-making abilities to effectively resolve
facility-related issues and challenges.
Ability
to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Valid
driver’s license and good physical health to respond to emergency
situations swiftly.
Well-organized,
detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Good and fluid level of English capable to maintain
technical conversations.
Preferred experience in the automotive and/or electronics industry.
