JOB SUMMARY:

Participate and provide support to the area of methods, production, quality, etc., in the development and update of procedures according IATF 16949 and Customer Specific Requirements.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform visual aids, work instructions and procedures.

  • Make quick changes to documentation.

  • Update of formats, such as PFMEA, Control Plan, Flow chart.

  • Documentation of process deviations.

  • Carry out MSA studies.

  • Coordinate the update of the manufacturing process documentation (PFMEAs, MOIs, PDMs) as response to engineering changes, quality issues or general improvements.

  • Participate & Document process improvements related to OEE, FTQ, Scrap, downtime.

  • Compliance to all Stoneridge safety standard.

  • Revision and update of Stoneridge procedures (SEQS) as improvement or response to non-conformities from external audits.

  • Participation and collaboration during Internal and external Audits such IATF certification, BIQ (GM certification), MSA (Ford certification), etc.

  • Attend meetings with different departments, such as but not limited to: APQP, PPAP, PM, Quality, and Maintenance.

  • Support to develop process documentation at launch critical products

  • Perform LPA as scheduled.

  • Provide support with customer specific requirements previous to audits.

  • Generate and track PCRs, and COs.

  • Schedule CCB meetings (SRE and SCD), present the changes, provide dates and actions for next approval step, and collect or generate deliverables (QAT, Timings, Customer Presentations, MSA Studies, PAR, Feasability Assesments, etc.).

  • Provide direct communication and updates to external Stoneridge teams, such as Brazil team.

EDUCATION:

University Degree or Engineering in progress

EXPERIENCE:

2 or more years of knowledge in the area.

KNOWLEDGE:
