Job Description

Provide support for Automation & Digitalization initiatives through the collection, integration, modeling, visualization, and analysis of data from manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, and other business applications, transforming it into actionable information to improve productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
  • Analyze information from ERP systems, manufacturing systems, and other data sources.
  • Design and implement visualization and automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
  • Implement data extraction, transformation, and integration processes.
  • Prepare executive reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in automation and digital transformation projects.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in: Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

English: Advanced level (B2-C1) required for global meetings, technical documentation, and presentations.

Skills

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard and KPI development.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and querying.
  • Understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of APIs and data source integration.
  • Knowledge with ETL and data integration tools (preferred).

Manufacturing Data & Operational Knowledge

  • Knowledge in manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of operational metrics such as OEE, Productivity, Quality, Traceability, and Downtime.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge handling data generated by manufacturing systems.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) (preferred).

Enterprise Systems & Digitalization

  • Knowledge working with data from enterprise ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP platforms.
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Services.
  • Understanding of data architecture and integration.
  • Knowledge with process automation and digitalization solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Gather requirements from internal customers.
  • Present analyses and recommendations.
  • Facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Certifications such as:
    • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst
    • Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer
    • AZ-900
    • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt
  • Preferred tools: SAP, MES, Azure, ETL platforms.
  • Differentiating knowledge:
    • Industry 4.0
    • Data Architecture
    • Automation
    • Manufacturing Analytics

Additional Information

  • Administrative schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico.
  • Travel requirement: Less than 10%.
  • Occasional visits to manufacturing plants, training sessions, and digitalization projects.
