Torque Tool Validation Engineer

Important IT company At the Latin American level, growth requires:

Torque Tool Engineering & Installation Support

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate supplier activities for new torque tools and engineering systems (Atlas Copco – SEMSA).

  • Support installation, integration, setup, and commissioning of torque tools and related equipment.

  • Validate torque strategies, tool parameters, tightening sequences, and process requirements.

  • Support torque tool calibration, verification, and traceability.

  • Verify MES/system interfaces, communication, data exchange, and process traceability.

  • Support production trials, functional testing, and process validation.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to torque tools, controls, and system integration.

  • Track and close punch list items and remaining technical issues.

  • Support final system acceptance and handover.

Technical Skills – Must Have:

  • Experience with industrial torque tools, controllers, and fastening systems.

  • Knowledge of torque control, tightening strategies, and tool parameterization.

  • Experience with torque tool installation, setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

  • Understanding of torque calibration, verification, and traceability.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and equipment documentation.

Technical Skills – Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of MES, PLCs, I/O, communication interfaces, and industrial controls.

  • Experience with production trials, process validation, and equipment acceptance.

  • Experience with torque traceability and data integration.

  • Automotive manufacturing experience.

  • Previous experience with Atlas Copco or similar industrial torque systems.

  • Experience coordinating technical activities with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Key Deliverables:

  • Torque stations installed, commissioned, and production-ready.

  • Torque strategies and tool parameters validated.

  • Calibration completed and records verified.

  • MES/system integration, communication, and traceability validated.

  • Production trials successfully completed.

  • Technical issues and punch list closed.

  • Supplier deliverables reviewed and accepted.

  • Final system validation and handover completed.

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).

If you are a foreingner residing in Mexico, you must have a valid INE, CURP, NSS and RFC.

Job type: ON SITE, 6 month contract.

Location: Monterrey, Mexico.

Salary: $70,000 gross.
