Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

Operational Effectiveness

• Lead daily security briefings to ensure all team members are informed and prepared.
• Schedule security shifts to maintain consistent security coverage.
• Conduct routine patrols to maintain a visible security presence.
• Report incidents to Security management to keep management informed of security events.
• Respond to all security breaches to ensure swift and effective incident resolution
• Evaluate guard performance on a regular basis to ensure high standards of security personnel
• Conduct safety drills to prepare staff for emergency situations.
• Maintain security equipment to ensure all equipment is operational.
• Document daily security activities to provide a record for analysis and improvement.

Sustainable Growth

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Good Governance, Risk and Compliance

• Implement risk, governance and compliance policies and processes effectively to identify and manage exposure to risks
• Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure compliance with security policies.

Leading Talent

• Ensure that the individual performance management discussions are completed within the policy guidelines, recorded and followed through on personal development areas.
• Maintain a positive work climate and culture to energize employees, give meaning to work, minimize work disruption and maximize employee productivity.
• Provide training and supervision to security guards, ensuring they understand operational procedures, equipment handling, and safety practices.

Minimum Experience:

• 3 - 5 years experience, including a track record of 2 years in Security Management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP)
