Digital Forensics Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Digital Investigations: Conduct forensic investigations relating to cybersecurity incidents, fraud, misuse of systems, and policy violations.

Evidence Preservation: Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence while maintaining chain-of-custody requirements.

Incident Support: Provide forensic support during security incidents and major investigations.

Malware Analysis: Assist in the examination of malicious software and suspicious activities affecting the Bank's systems.

Reporting: Produce detailed investigation reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders.

Regulatory Support: Support legal, compliance, audit, and regulatory investigations where required.

Forensic Readiness: Maintain forensic tools, procedures, and capabilities to support investigations.

Threat Analysis: Identify indicators of compromise and support broader security investigations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Cybersecurity Investigations, or related areas.

Experience conducting computer, network, and mobile device investigations.

Familiarity with forensic tools and investigative methodologies.

Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Relevant certifications such as GCFA, GCFE, CHFI, CEH, CISSP, or related certifications will be an advantage.
