The Document Control Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of quality‑related documentation related to product certificates, test reports, Manufacturing Record Books, type‑approval submissions, and ensuring that all documents meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements. The role works closely with engineering and production to provide timely and reliable documentation.

Manage creation, review, correction, approval, and archiving of product certificates, test reports, and Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
Review and approval of supplier provided material test reports for correctness and completeness.
Ensure documents comply with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate product traceability by reviewing, correcting, and communicating all aspects of lot/batch and serial number tracking.
Maintain the document control systems, guaranteeing traceability and version control.
Maintain the standards library.
Coordinate type approval submissions and track status with regulatory bodies.
Provide required documentation to internal teams and customers promptly.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to document control activities.
Train and guide staff on document control procedures, systems and best practices.
Monitor document lifecycle and initiate renewal or disposal processes as needed.
Generate reports on document status, completeness, and compliance metrics.
Education: Technical vocational or technical higher professional education, or an equivalent level gained through relevant work experience.
Minimum 3 years experience in document control, preferably within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
Proficiency with document management systems.
Excellent organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Experience with type approval processes and certification management.
Familiarity with Manufacturing Record Books (MRB) handling.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
