Senior Engineer – Marine Analysis

We are looking for a Senior Engineer – Marine Analysis to strengthen our engineering team in Arendal.

In this role, you'll perform design and analysis of mooring, riser, cable and umbilical systems for floating offshore installations. You'll contribute to concept studies, detailed engineering, product development and the continuous improvement of our marine analysis methods and software tools.

Working closely with structural, mechanical and installation engineers, you'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle—from early client discussions to offshore installation.

Essential

• Master's degree or PhD in Hydrodynamics, Naval Architecture, Marine Structures or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in offshore engineering or marine analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in programming (Python, Fortran or similar).
• Professional English.

Preferred

• Experience with marine analysis software such as OrcaFlex, RIFLEX, SIMA, SIMO, WAMIT or similar.
• Experience with floating offshore systems, mooring analysis or Floating Wind.
• Norwegian language skills are an advantage but not required.
