We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team, responsible for managing client relationships and delivering high-quality administration, accounting and financial reporting services for share plans.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance, managing client enquiries and ensuring planned and ad hoc services are delivered effectively.

You will work closely with clients and internal teams, contributing to consulting activities, projects and the development of our products, software and services. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to take on new responsibilities, develop your expertise and grow within the company.

The day-to-day of this role will involve managing client relationships and delivering high-quality administration, accounting and financial reporting services for share plans. You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting client enquiries and ensuring both planned and ad hoc services are delivered effectively.

You will work closely with clients and internal teams, contributing to consulting activities, projects and the development of our products and software. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to take ownership of new responsibilities, build your expertise and grow within the company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of accounting and financial reporting services for clients, including client management, consulting and operational processing.
  • Preparing, validating and distributing IFRS and US GAAP compliant accounting and disclosure reports for share-based payment plans.
  • Maintaining and configuring client data and accounting parameters within EquatePyramid, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Providing expert guidance on IFRS and US GAAP financial reporting requirements related to share-based compensation.
  • Managing client relationships and working closely with financial reporting and finance/accounting contacts to address queries and deliver high-quality service.
  • Supporting valuations using option pricing models and Monte Carlo simulation techniques, where required.
  • Completing internal controls, compliance checks and supporting documentation in line with established processes.
  • Ensuring all client deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines, while contributing to team objectives and continuous improvement.

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for a Account Manager with:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree combined with relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, operational and process skills, with experience in accounting, finance, audit or a similar environment considered an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of share plans and accounting standards such as IFRS 2, IAS 12, IAS 33, IAS 19 or relevant US GAAP standards considered an advantage.
  • Recent graduates with a strong interest in accounting, financial reporting and share plans are also encouraged to apply.

  • Good understanding of accounting, financial reporting and customer service, with the ability to support clients and resolve queries effectively.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across Operations, Plan Administration, Product, IT and Relationship Management teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve complex issues using sound judgement and established procedures.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with an interest in continuous improvement, reporting activities, systems and processes, and the ability to support projects and mentor junior team members.
