Are you an experienced facilities professional ready to lead the management of some of Rotorua's most significant community assets?
Rotorua Lakes Council is looking for a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee a portfolio of major facilities, including the upgraded Rotorua Museum. In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering facility management plans, managing maintenance and renewal programmes, overseeing contracts and budgets, and ensuring facilities remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, facility operators, and mana whenua, you'll build strong relationships and drive best-practice facilities management across the organisation. You'll also lead and support a team of Facilities Managers while contributing to the ongoing improvement of our facilities services.
We're looking for someone with extensive experience managing large or complex facilities, strong contract and stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to deliver operational and strategic outcomes. Experience in local government, community, cultural, or public sector environments will be highly regarded.
