Gardener

Citycare Property is seeking an experienced Gardener to help maintain the grounds of a unique Central Wellington location.

What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
• Maintain heritage gardens, lawns, garden beds, and landscaped areas to an exceptional standard.
• Maintain and care for a diverse range of established trees, helping preserve the character and presentation of the landscape.
• Carry out seasonal planting, pruning, mulching, weed control, and plant care.
• Help preserve the character, presentation, and heritage values of an iconic Wellington destination.
• Identify and address plant health issues before they become problems.
• Operate horticultural equipment safely and efficiently.
• Contribute ideas that improve garden presentation and visitor experience

What You’ll Bring to the Table | Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Ko:
• A recognised horticultural qualification is desirable.
• Proven experience maintaining, parks, estates, or landscaped environments.
• Strong plant knowledge and an eye for presentation and detail.
• A genuine passion for horticulture and pride in your workmanship.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of your area.
• A Full Class 1 Driver Licence.
