Job Description

Avani Queenstown Hotel is looking for enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team on a Part-Time basis.

This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work across both bar and floor service, delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to guests from around the world.

You'll join a collaborative team that values great service, positive energy and creating memorable moments for every guest.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide attentive food and beverage service, including taking orders and delivering meals
• Deliver professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests
• Recommend menu items and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience
• Maintain clean, stocked and organised bar and service areas
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure seamless service
• Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
• Comply with all health, hygiene and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) standards

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster Sunday to Thursday
• Shifts schedule across:
  5:30am - 11.00am
  7.00am - 12.00pm
  8.00am - 2.00pm

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience in food & beverage service
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and professional attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
