About the role

As part of Audika’s professional audiology team, you will work independently to provide services to our private and insurance clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting hearing assessments, prescribing hearing solutions, fitting hearing devices, and delivering client consultations. You will have access to the latest hearing technology, enabling you to achieve outstanding client outcomes while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.

This is a full-time opportunity based primarily in Te Puke, with a secondary location in Cherrywood, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting adult hearing services for clients

  • Performing hearing assessments

  • Prescription of the relevant hearing aid and fitting

  • Counselling and providing rehabilitative audiology

  • Liaising with GPs and participating in local area marketing events to promote hearing services.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • You are an experienced audiologist/audiometrist with sound hearing device product knowledge

  • You hold a CCC and a valid membership with audiological peak body

  • You are dedicated to further growing and sharing your knowledge on hearing health

  • You are commercially aware with proven ability to meet KPIs

  • You have strong interpersonal communication skills and empathy to customers
