The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

This is a Permanent, part-time role based in Tauranga, working Sundays and Mondays, 11:30pm to 7:30am.

In this role you will:

  • Support people in a mental health adult respite setting, working individually and as part of a team
  • Have good people skills and able to work independently and within a wider team
  • Be busy supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills
  • Attending appointments and advocating for people
  • Might be assisting people to connect with their communities
  • Be prepared to do whatever it takes for the people we support - cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care or helping with everyday tasks

About You | Mōu

  • Applicants must hold the Level 4 New Zealand certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognized equivalent) or have commenced studies towards their qualification
  • You must hold a current full New Zealand Driver Licence
  • You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
