The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, 10:00am to 6:30pm.
As a Support Worker, you’ll report to the Team Coach and join our dynamic mobile service. You’ll work alongside a supportive team of Support Workers to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people on their mental health journey.
While mental health experience is preferred, we also highly value lived and life experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medication support and recovery-focused care.
- Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.
- Empower independent daily living skills and goal achievement.
- Foster positive community connections and strong foundations.
- Work alongside Registered Health Professionals with a common purpose.
- Manage your caseload with the support of a collaborative team.
You | Mōu
We're looking for passionate individuals who thrive on autonomy and value independence.
You will also have:
- A current full NZ driver’s licence.
- A current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
- Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- The Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW), or a recognised equivalent — or be currently studying toward this qualification or equivalent.
