Description
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading the day-to-day operation of the Blenheim store. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, developing team capability, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring a safe and productive working environment. The ASM acts as a role model for the team and assumes responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
Key Responsibilities
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Previous retail leadership experience at Supervisor, Key Holder, or Assistant Store Manager level.
Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Experience within outdoor, apparel, or specialty retail.
Experience with roster management and labour productivity.
Understanding of retail KPI reporting and analysis.
