Campus Student Support Assistant

OneSchool Global Maungaturoto Campus is looking for a committed Student Support Assistant (Teacher Aide) to join our team. This role focuses on supporting a small group of primary students (4-5) with learning support needs.
About the Role:
• Work with a small group of primary aged students.
• Support the students with their independent learning needs.
• Assist in keeping students engaged, motivated, and on track with their learning goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure the best support strategies are in place.
• Create strategies to engage students in the Study.
• Support with planning.
What We’re Looking For:
• A caring and patient approach with a passion for helping students succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic and patient approach to their support
• Ability to work independently while following structured learning plans.
• Previous experience working with students who have learning challenges is preferred.
Role Details:
Hours: 9 hours per week, starting at approx 09:30 am, We are flexible with the days of week and start/finish times. Can be across 2 or 3 days.
Weeks: This role is a 40 weeks per annum position. School holidays off.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until December 2027.
Location: Maungaturoto Campus, OneSchool Global NZ
Remuneration: Above market rate higher than public school.
