About Our Role

We have a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, available for a Treat Operations Coordinator at our Ascot Road site in Māngere.

This is a varied, hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day flow of our treat products through Ascot Road. You’ll receive and organise incoming stock, plan our weekly treat-packing requirements, pick and pack store orders, and help make sure our stores have the stock they need.

Our treats arrive in several forms, including boxed retail-ready products, loose bulk products and bulk freeze-dried products that need to be packed into retail bags. You’ll coordinate what needs to be packed each week and work alongside a Warehouse team member to complete the freeze-dried packing.

You’ll also provide backup support for bone broth processing and packing, along with the packaging and distribution of our over-the-counter products.

This is a physical role involving regular lifting, packing, stock movement and time on your feet.

About Your Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving, checking and organising incoming treat stock
• Picking, packing and checking store orders processed through Airtable and Cin7
• Coordinating the weekly packing plan for bulk freeze-dried treats
• Packing, sealing, labelling and cartoning treats to the required standard
• Organising retail-ready treats into practical quantities for store distribution
• Monitoring bulk and retail-ready stock levels
• Identifying potential shortages or overstock and communicating these early
• Coordinating urgent stock movements when required to help keep stores supplied
• Supporting stock counts, stock rotation and investigation of stock variances
• Providing backup support for bone broth and over-the-counter product packing
• Following food safety, quality, traceability and health and safety procedures

About You

This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work but can also plan ahead, stay organised and take ownership of an area.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in packing, warehousing, dispatch, food production or a similar hands-on role
• Be accurate and careful when picking, packing, labelling and handling stock
• Be able to organise their workload and meet packing and dispatch deadlines
• Be comfortable using basic computer systems
• Have strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
• Communicate clearly when stock, quality or capacity issues arise
• Work well independently and as part of a wider warehouse and production team
• Be physically capable of completing the lifting and manual-handling requirements of the role
• Take pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and safe work area

Experience in food manufacturing, inventory systems or a regulated packing environment would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
