JOB CONTENT
To perform inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of company vehicles to ensure their safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The position is responsible for identifying vehicle faults, carrying out necessary repairs, maintaining service records, and ensuring vehicles are kept in good working condition.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational:
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of company vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
Carry out repairs and replacement of faulty vehicle components as required.
Service and maintain vehicle engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and other mechanical systems.
Check and maintain vehicle fluids, batteries, tyres, and other essential components.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify potential faults and safety issues.
Carry out oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and other routine servicing activities.
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and safe for operation before being released for use.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, servicing, repairs, and replaced parts.
Report major faults, required repairs, and spare parts requirements to the supervisor.
Coordinate with external garages or service providers when specialized repairs are required.
Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all company maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and instructions from the supervisor.
Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager/supervisor.

Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education:
–
Diploma / Certification in relevant discipline
Experience:
–
2 years of relevant experience
Special Skills & Knowledge:

Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults
–
Good knowledge of preventive maintenance and vehicle service
–
Ability to use basic automotive tools and diagnostic equipment
