Configuration Manager

Technical Systems Integration, Inc. (TSI) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business supporting the United States Navy and other Department of Defense customers. TSI provides logistics, engineering, and technical support services to naval warfare centers and program offices across the country.

About the Role

TSI is seeking a Configuration Manager to support mine warfare systems at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). This is a hardware and technical documentation configuration management role: maintaining engineering baselines, supporting Configuration Control Board activities, and processing Engineering Change Proposals, Notices of Revision, and Physical Configuration Audits for fielded Navy systems. This is a documentation and change control position.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain configuration baselines for hardware and technical documentation in accordance with SAE EIA-649C, including Configuration Status Accounting reports using CMPro or an equivalent configuration management system.
• Review engineering drawings and technical data for compliance with Notices of Revision, support Physical Configuration Audits, and verify configuration items against approved baselines.
• Support Configuration Control Board activities, including agenda preparation, action item tracking, and coordination with Government representatives.
• Prepare and track engineering change documentation, including Engineering Change Proposals, Engineering Change Records, Ship or System Change Documents, and Technical Directives, and support associated impact analyses.
• Support processing of approved changes through the SHIPMAIN process for shipboard system alterations.
• Build and maintain configuration, alteration, and logistics data within the Model Based Product Support database, ensuring data integrity and traceability to the official Government system of record.
• Maintain the online technical library used to collect, store, and distribute technical data and engineering drawings.
• Assist in preparing and updating Configuration Management Plans and support program reviews, including In Process Reviews and Quarterly Program Reviews.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Seven years of professional experience in configuration management in a military, government, or industry setting.
• Working knowledge of configuration management principles consistent with SAE EIA-649C.
• Experience with an enterprise configuration management system such as CMPro, Windchill, or an equivalent platform.
• Experience supporting a configuration change control board or an equivalent formal change review process.
• United States citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting Navy, Army, or Air Force weapon system or equipment sustainment programs.
• Familiarity with NAVSEA Technical Specification 9090-700 (Model Based Product Support), CDMD-OA (Configuration Data Managers Database, formerly SCLSIS), or an equivalent Service level configuration and logistics data system.
• Experience with the SHIPMAIN process, or an equivalent Service modernization or installation process.
• Military background in Army Modification Work Orders or Air Force Time Compliance Technical Orders (Air Force Specialty Codes 2R1X1 or 2R2X1) directly translates to this position.
• Certified Configuration Manager (CCM) or equivalent professional certification.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $60,000 to $62,000 yearly
