What will be your contribution to the team?

  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working in close collaboration with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality and Production.
  • Implement, coordinate and prioritize production line configuration changes with robust tracking of change management process activities.
  • Provide technical support of configuration changes and manufacturing processes.
  • Define and incorporate standard times in work instructions to ensure proper product costing.
  • Document and promote modifications, standard practices and lessons learned that ensure product integrity in accordance with design requirements.
  • Analyze, plan and implement engineering requirements for test aircraft, option configurations and spares required by the program.
  • Ensure the functionality of the tooling and visual aids used during the implementation in the production line.
  • Deliver the required documentation (SAE AS9102) for PRE-FAI and FAI according to the process established in the schedule.
  • Define the delivery condition (COS) of the materials that guarantee the flexibility in the manufacturing of the product.
  • Participate in governance and visibility for achieving projects goals: content, scope of work, costs, risks.
  • Participate in New Product Development activities at a Platform level

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge and experience

  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing, Configuration Methods Engineering, or an Automotive Product Engineering environment.
  • You have a degree in Aeronautical, Electromechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have knowledge of electrical harness manufacturing.
  • You have an intermediate level of technical and business English and are able to hold professional conversations.
  • You have knowledge of CATIA V5 (or similar tools such as AutoCAD or CorelDRAW), SAP, Mentor Graphics, DIT-MCO equipment, Publisher, advanced Excel, and Office 365.
  • You are a technical professional who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and are customer-oriented.
  • You are well organized and possess strong planning and problem-solving skills.
