Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Supervisor Safety & Security.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

• Exercise effective supervision of all guards in his area of responsibility and ensures that the staff carries out their duties effectively.
• Provide security assistance to the staff, students, visitors and patients and own staff when called for.
• Carry out periodic check of the guards on duty to ensure alertness and vigilance through physical as well as CCTV monitoring.
• Promptly report any incident, fire, accident and / or theft to the Assistant Manager/ Senior supervisor on duty.
• Exercise vigilance and see that no unauthorized person enters the area of responsibility.
• Keep the Senior supervisor informed of all security matters within his area of responsibility.
• Perform any security duty assigned by Assistant Manager/ Senior supervisor the Supervisor.
• Assist Security Guards in public dealing and when assistance is sought by them.
• Assist and escort Police and Law Enforcement personnel within CMS premises when asked to do so by the Assistant Manager/ Senior supervisor.
• Carry out investigation of incidents taking place in their tenure of duty when directed by the control supervisor.
• Escort employees and students outside CMS, on a required basis.
• Monitor CCTV footage and react to the situation.
• SSE the CCTV footage as evidence for the investigation, as and when required.
• Operate various types of road blocker and barriers.
• Perform any other task assigned by Asst. Manager/ Senior Security supervisor.
• Any other task assigned by Asst. Manager/ Senior Security supervisor.

Requirements:

You should have:

• Matric (Intermediate /higher Preferred)
• Minimum of 22 years experience as trained soldier/combatant in the Pakistan Armed Force (Rangers, Frontier Corps, Frontier Constabulary, Coast Guard or Police) at the level of Junior-commissioned Officer (Age less than 50 years).
• At least 15 years experience (incase of Civilian) in Security Management.
• Computer literacy
• Experience and service with SSG & Intelligence units would be preferred.
