The Senior Logistics Analyst supports transportation and warehousing activities across the EMEAI region through data analysis, cost optimization initiatives, logistics tenders, and continuous improvement projects. The role partners with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers to deliver data-driven recommendations that improve logistics efficiency and support business growth.
- Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze logistics data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, carrier reports, warehouses, and business units.
- Support the development of logistics reporting and analytical tools that provide visibility into transportation, warehousing, and logistics costs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across logistics reporting and analysis activities.
- Identify trends, risks, process inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities through data-driven analysis.
- Support transportation and warehousing tenders, including data preparation, cost modelling, pricing analysis, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations.
- Participate in logistics and supply chain projects focused on network optimization, transportation efficiency, warehouse operations, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, Finance, and external logistics providers to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Partner with the Control Tower team by providing analytical support, data insights, and ad-hoc analysis for logistics performance reviews.
- Prepare business cases and recommendations supporting logistics cost optimization and service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain analytics, or a related field.
- Good understanding of transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and performance reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, SQL, or similar analytical tools.
- Experience supporting logistics tenders and carrier negotiations.
- Experience in a regional or international logistics environment.
- Additional European language skills, particularly French, German, Italian, or Spanish.
