Security Manager

Overview

Cambridge Aerospace is looking for a Security Manager to establish and lead the security function, ensuring the organisation develops secure and resilient operations that support strategic growth across Poland and the wider European market.

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for our local leadership team and serve as a key link between our subsidiary and the Group Security Function.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior security representative for operations in Poland, implementing Group security strategy and integrating security considerations into business planning, operations and decision-making.
• Establish, develop and improve the local security function, governance framework, policies and capabilities to support business growth.
• Lead the delivery of physical, personnel, information and operational security measures across the subsidiary.
• Identify, assess and manage security risks, incidents, business continuity and resilience arrangements, ensuring appropriate mitigation and response measures are in place.
• Ensure compliance with applicable German legislation, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and Group security standards.
• Lead assurance, accreditation, audit and reporting activities, maintaining risk registers and driving continuous improvement programmes.
• Act as the primary security point of contact for customers, authorities, industry partners and the Group Security Function.
• Provide functional leadership for security activities, developing resources, capabilities and teams as the business expands.

Requirements

• Significant security management experience within defence, aerospace, government, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, or another highly regulated environment.
• Experience leading security programmes covering physical, personnel, information and operational security.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage customers, authorities and external partners.
• Experience advising senior leaders and influencing business decisions.
• Experience developing security policies, processes and governance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Professional security qualification (ASIS CPP, CSMP, Security Institute, or equivalent).
• Experience establishing security arrangements for new sites or expanding operations.
• Professional security qualification and German language skills (written and spoken)
