Procurement Performance Analyst

Job Summary
The Procurement Performance & AI Analyst will establish a dedicated capability within Global Procurement focused on improving procurement performance, transparency, and value realization across regions.
This role will be responsible for developing and monitoring procurement KPIs, analyzing purchasing performance, and supporting governance, compliance, and data-driven decision-making.
A key element of the role will be to identify and implement practical AI and automation solutions to improve daily procurement activities, reduce manual work, and enhance the quality and speed of procurement decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain procurement dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting across regions.
- Track procurement savings, cost avoidance, and value realization in cooperation with Finance.
- Monitor PPV, purchasing performance, and key cost drivers against budgets, market benchmarks, and historical prices.
- Develop mark-to-market analytics and improve visibility of procurement activities, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Monitor and report supplier performance, including price, service, quality, and delivery performance.
- Analyze inventory, working capital, and purchasing patterns to identify optimization opportunities.
- Track freight, demurrage, and detention costs and identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Support procurement risk governance, including market exposure, open positions, supplier risks, and compliance.
- Establish standardized procurement reporting and KPI definitions across regions.
- Prepare regular management reporting, highlighting key performance drivers, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with Regional Procurement teams to identify performance gaps and track corrective actions.
- Partner with Finance to ensure procurement savings and value creation are properly validated and reflected in business results.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate procurement processes.
- Identify and implement practical AI use cases within daily procurement activities, including reporting, data analysis, supplier analysis, and market monitoring.
- Support the development of AI-enabled tools to automate repetitive activities and improve procurement decision-making.
- Work with IT/Data teams to ensure reporting, automation, and AI solutions are scalable and aligned with company standards.
- Act as a key procurement contact for data, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.
- Support strategic procurement projects through data-driven analysis, insights, and recommendations.

Education & Experience
- University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, business analytics, or a related function.
- Proven experience in procurement performance, spend analytics, reporting, or procurement controlling.
- Strong experience with Excel, Power BI, and data analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement data is preferred.
- Understanding of PPV, savings, cost avoidance, supplier performance, inventory, and working capital.
- Experience working with Finance on savings validation is an advantage.
- Experience in Animal Nutrition, Feed, Food, Ingredients, or Commodities is preferred.
- Experience with AI tools, automation, or digital transformation is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in an international and multi-regional organization is preferred.
