Start-up Engineer (m/f/d) for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Systems
Your responsibilities:
- Nation-wide start-ups on MRI systems
- Performing hardware checks (magnet, gradient systems, RF coils, cooling systems, safety devices)
- Testing control and imaging software, including interface testing with IT systems (e.g., PACS, RIS)
- Carrying out safety inspections in accordance with applicable standards and legal requirements
- Quality testing to ensure the required image quality
- Creating and maintaining detailed test and validation reports
- Technical clarification, fault analysis and troubleshooting, as well as spare-part ordering as part of commissioning
- Close collaboration with local project managers, local customer service engineers, external service providers and customers, as well as teams at headquarters and in the factory
- Preparing and aligning acceptance documentation and coordinating the handover to the responsible service organization
Qualifications and experience:
- You have completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification with an electrical engineering focus
- We also welcome applicants who have completed further training as a state-certified technician or master craftsman and have initial professional experience in this field
- You have experience in start-ups, maintenance, or service of complex technical systems - ideally in medical technology or imaging systems
- Sound knowledge of MRI system hardware and associated software, including interfaces to IT systems, is an advantage
- Ideally, you have knowledge of relevant safety standards and legal requirements
- SEP electrical qualifications are an advantage; if not held, willingness to obtain them is expected
- A willingness to travel exclusively within Poland and occasionally throughout Europe is a requirement

- Analytical thinking, an independent and structured way of working, as well as strong problem-solving and organizational skills come naturally to you
- Experience in fault analysis and troubleshooting, flexibility in responding to disruptions, and the ability to coordinate projects independently round out your profile
- You bring resilience, time flexibility, and commitment to meet the demands of frequent travel and changing work locations
- You have technical understanding of interfaces, system integration, and upgrades for MRI systems
- We require business-fluent Polish and English skills
- You hold a valid Class B driving license
