The Manager, Total Rewards & HR Operations position is a Full time, Regular position.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• In charge of assessing the organization’s pay structure for Puerto Rico and United States. Conducts research

on compensation trends and reviews surveys to determine how the organizations pay compares with other

organizations in a particular industry and region.

• Analyze compensation data, trends, and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior

management.

• Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend changes that are costeffective and consistent with compensation trends and objectives.

• Responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in

compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

• Collaborate with People in the analysis and review of job classification and reclassification requests, quality

controls the job classification process for both existing positions and newly created positions, performing

job audits, as appropriate.

• Develop and maintain a job evaluation and grading system to ensure consistency in job classifications and

compensation levels.

• Assists and collaborates in the planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the

annual salary review program for all employees.

• Responsible for the administration of the company’s incentives and performance plans.

• Compensation lead for all Workday projects, improvements, and initiatives.

• Communicate compensation and benefits policies, programs, and changes to employees effectively.

• Provides training and instruction to all People department units in the day-to-day application of

compensation programs, policies, and procedures.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health

insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

• Evaluate and select benefits providers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure costeffectiveness and employee satisfaction.

• Own and manage the employee health and welfare, retirement, and leave of absence benefit programs in

compliance with carrier contracts for the purpose of providing maximum coverage to active and retired

employees within contract specifications.

• Collaborate with HR to design and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and

satisfaction.

• Supports with other benefit plan administration duties, as needed.

• Assists in the development, writing, editing, and modification of operating policies, guidelines, and

procedures, as appropriate.

• Protect organization’s value and HR operations by keeping confidential information.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

• Complies fully and consistently with the Company's standards, policies, and procedures and the local and

federal laws applicable to our industry, business, and employment practices.

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, in accordance with the education and

experience requirements contained in this document.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree

in HR, Compensation & Benefits, or Business Administration preferred.

• 7+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits management. 1 to 3 years

supervisory experience may be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs,

including salary structures, incentive plans, health and welfare plans, and retirement programs.

• Proven expertise in conducting market benchmarking, compensation analysis, job evaluation, and salary

survey reviews.

• In-depth knowledge of compensation principles and benefits administration, including extensive

knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding compensation practices and legislation.

• Hands-on experience with HR technology platforms, including Workday or similar HRIS systems, for

compensation, benefits, and HR operations management.

• Previous experience in compensation administration, with the ability to provide guidance and training to

HR teams and business leaders on compensation programs, policies, and procedures.

• Strong mathematical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to translate data into

actionable insights.

• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, with outstanding interpersonal and

collaboration abilities to effectively partner with senior leadership, HR teams, and employees.

• Ability to coordinate and integrate activities, resources, and teams effectively, while managing multiple

projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Quick learner, detail-oriented, and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and collaboratively, maintaining confidentiality and handling

sensitive information with discretion.

• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling employee and organizational information.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities, organize work effectively, and deliver results within deadlines.

• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).

• Bilingual (writing, conversational and reading comprehension in English and Spanish).

CERTIFICATIONS/ LICENSES/ PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification is a plus.

• Will operate a computer, copier, and other modern office equipment. The employee generally works

indoors in an office.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including evenings or weekends for

• Occasional offsite visits may be required for meetings, training sessions, or vendor/benefits provider

consultations, as requested by the organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully

perform the essential functions of this job.

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer, analyzing compensation and benefits data,

and managing various HR projects.

• Regular use of hands and fingers for typing, navigating HRIS systems, and handling office equipment.

• Occasional lifting and carrying of office materials, reports, or supplies, typically up to 25 pounds.

• Strong visual and auditory skills are essential to review data, analyze HR metrics, assess compensation and

benefits programs, and communicate effectively with employees, leadership, and vendors
