Who are we?

Checkmarx is the AI-powered application security leader helping the world’s most security-conscious enterprises secure the software that powers modern life. For more than two decades, our unified platform and services have helped organizations protect human- and AI-generated code from the first line through runtime, reducing risk across applications, cloud, and the software supply chain without slowing innovation.

We’re trusted by 1,600+ customers in 70+ countries, including some of the largest enterprises and governments in the world. Guided by research-led innovation and a developer-first mindset, we help every developer, security team, and enterprise build software that is risk-free by design.

The Director of Product Management for Engines owns the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for Checkmarx's scanning engine portfolio across the Checkmarx One platform. This is the detection technology our customers depend on to find and prioritize risk in their code.

You will lead a team of product managers, set the quality and performance bar across engines, and partner with R&D, Research, Design, and GTM to deliver capabilities that meet enterprise expectations for accuracy, scale, and trust.

What you’ll do

  • Own the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for the engine portfolio, and make the investment trade-offs across engines that determine where Checkmarx competes and wins.
  • Build and lead a high-performing product management team, setting direction, developing talent, and holding a consistent standard across domains.
  • Establish detection quality and performance as accountable business outcomes, with clear targets and the evidence to demonstrate progress against them.
  • Partner with R&D leadership to align engineering capacity and delivery commitments to the roadmap.
  • Translate customer, market, and competitive insight into a differentiated strategy that drives adoption and revenue growth.
  • Align GTM, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success behind the engine narrative, and own its credibility in the market.
  • Engage enterprise customers and C-level stakeholders to validate direction, build long-term partnerships, and resolve escalations that matter to the business.
  • Represent the engine strategy internally and externally, including at executive reviews, customer briefings, industry events, and analyst engagements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a SaaS environment.
  • 3+ years of experience leading product teams in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Proven success launching and scaling B2B SaaS or enterprise security products.
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, Agile methodologies, and lean principles.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience engaging with enterprise customers, C-level stakeholders, and technical users.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth, and security-conscious environment.
  • Strong point of view on AI/ML product development, with familiarity across the AI/ML lifecycle (data, model development, evaluation, deployment)
  • Background in cybersecurity, application security, or developer tooling strongly preferred
