Senior IT Analyst - eCommerce

The Senior IT Analyst - eCommerce serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring the successful delivery, enhancement, and support of eCommerce platforms and digital commerce solutions. This role is responsible for gathering business requirements, driving solution design, managing integrations, and supporting the continuous optimization of the online customer experience.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with business teams, product owners, and external partners to gather and document requirements, translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution reviews, provide recommendations for process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.

eCommerce Platform Management

  • Support and enhance eCommerce platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, Magento, or similar solutions, analyze and resolve platform-related issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Manage platform upgrades, releases, and new feature deployments, monitor website functionality and customer experience metrics.

Solution Design & Integration

  • Work with architects and development teams to design scalable eCommerce solutions, coordinate integrations with ERP, CRM, PIM, payment gateways, OMS, tax, and logistics systems.
  • Ensure data consistency across digital commerce ecosystems, participate in solution testing, validation, and deployment activities.

Project Delivery

  • Lead or support end-to-end project implementations and enhancements, develop business cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate UAT activities and ensure business readiness, track project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Analyze eCommerce performance metrics and user behavior, support reporting requirements using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, or similar.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve conversion rates and customer engagement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, or Functional Consultant, 3+ years of experience supporting eCommerce platforms.

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce business processes (Product Catalog Management, Pricing & Promotions, Shopping Cart & Checkout, Payment Processing, Order Management, Customer Account Management)

  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify, or BigCommerce.
  • Knowledge of APIs, web services, and system integrations, experience with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Understanding of SEO, web analytics, and digital marketing technologies.
  • Relevant certifications in Agile, Business Analysis, or eCommerce platforms.
