SpotLIGHT of the job

If you thrive on innovation and product development, you will play a key role in designing and bringing custom lighting solutions to market. From concept creation to product optimization, you will help drive quality, performance, and continuous improvement across our portfolio.

Responsibilities

Working within a flexible working environment, where the main duties are following:

• Development and Design of Luminaires (custom products);
• Industrialization of custom products (Design for X, define drawings and whiring schemes, create BOMs);
• Modification of existing reference products;
• Verification of Feasibility and Compliance to existing standards (especially in case of taking over external concepts);
• Continuous Improvement of existing portfolio (range extensions and engineering change management)
  • Range extension within existing product families
  • Q-Improvement
  • Value Engineering and Cost-Improvement
• Technical Consulting.

Skills & Experience

• University of Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Construction and project experience is beneficial
• Mechanical engineering, basic knowledge of electrical engineering and electronics, basic business knowledge, knowledge of lighting technology, knowledge of products and production possibilities, operational and organizational knowledge
• English, additional foreign languages are beneficial
• Business contacts:
  • internal - CPD-Development, R&D, operations / production, Controlling, work planning, operation control, laboratory, lighting technology, logistic, product marketing, purchasing, After Sales
  • external - sales organizations, customers, planners, architects, external producers, suppliers
