Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to support tax compliance activities within our Tax Center of Excellence (COE). In this role, you will help ensure that tax returns for Tetra Pak entities globally are prepared and submitted accurately and on time. You will also support tax-related matters involving local and cross-border transactions of goods and services, contribute to global tax improvement initiatives, and play an active role in the day-to-day execution of tax operations.

This position is based in Belgrade, Serbia

What you will do

• Support tax compliance activities within the Tax Center of Excellence (COE), delivering tax compliance and reporting services to Tetra Pak entities globally.
• Ensure tax returns and related filings are prepared accurately and submitted on time, in line with applicable regulations and internal requirements.
• Assist with local and cross-border transactions involving goods and services, providing tax support to the business as needed.
• Support management in driving global tax alignment and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Contribute to the effective execution of day-to-day tax operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to address tax-related matters and support ongoing business activities.
• Help identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and ways of working within the tax function.

We believe you have

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in tax compliance, ideally within a multinational, shared services, or professional services environment.
• Previous experience in accounting or finance, such as bookkeeping, which would be considered an advantage.
• A genuine interest in tax, accounting, and finance, with a passion for delivering excellent service to internal customers.
• Strong analytical skills, business awareness, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global team environment.
• Fluency in English and Serbian; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong knowledge of Serbian tax regulations.
• A tax advisory qualification or relevant tax specialization would be an advantage.
