INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking an Electrical - I&C Construction Site Supervisor to join our dynamic Automation team. This role is pivotal in delivering advanced industrial automation and control solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Manufacturing.

At INTECH, you will contribute to complex automation projects involving PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, FGS, OSI PI Systems, and Wellhead Automation solutions. You will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and design to commissioning, troubleshooting, startup, and final handover.

What You’ll Lead and Delive r:

  • Lead site execution of electrical and I&C works including demolition, installation, termination, and testing.
  • Lead and supervise the installation of cable trays and conduits ensuring proper routing, bending, sealing, and support as per standards.
  • Lead and supervise the proper cable pulling and laying (power, control, instrumentation, and fiber optic cables), tagging, glanding, and termination based on cable schedules and approved loop drawings.
  • Lead and supervise the installation of field instruments (pressure, flow, temperature, level, analyzers)
  • Lead and supervise the installation of junction boxes (JBs), marshaling panels, PLC control panels, etc.
  • Lead and supervise the loop wiring test, termination checking, labeling/tagging, and continuity/megger testing.
  • Lead and supervise the installation and termination of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.), HMI panels, and communication interfaces.
  • Coordinate with other subcontractors for the execution of civil/mechanical works
  • Ensure proper allocation of manpower, tools, and materials to meet project needs.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards (SAES, SAMSS, SES) and safety procedures.
  • Supervise daily activities, manage technicians and laborer's, and coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, and planning teams.
  • Perform loop checks, cable testing (continuity, insulation), calibration, I/O verification, and system integration.
  • Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities per SABIC/Aramco procedures.
  • Collaborate with civil and mechanical teams.
  • Prepare and review ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records including redlines, test reports, and progress logs.
  • Conduct site visits for scope assessment and assist in BOQ preparation and resource estimation.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, inductions, and compliance with HSE plans.
  • Conducting the site visits for evaluation of construction scope for new project
  • Assist estimation team in preparing the BOQ, estimation of site days and required man-days

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

  • B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8–10 years of site-based experience in Electrical and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) construction, preferably on large-scale EPC projects.
  • Proven experience in leading and supervising electrical and I&C construction activities including installation, demolition, cable laying, termination, testing, and commissioning.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cable trays, conduits, cable pulling, glanding, tagging, termination, and cable routing for power, control, instrumentation, and fiber optic cables.
  • Experience supervising the installation and termination of field instruments, junction boxes, marshaling panels, PLC panels, control panels, and related instrumentation systems.
  • Good understanding of loop drawings, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, termination drawings, I/O lists, and electrical/instrumentation layouts.
  • Practical experience in continuity testing, insulation resistance/megger testing, loop checks, I/O verification, calibration, and functional testing.
  • Must have prior experience in SABIC and/or Aramco projects, with working knowledge of project documentation and protocols.
  • Experience with both Greenfield and Brownfield project environments.
  • Must have prior experience working as a Work Permit Receiver (WPR) and be familiar with site work permit processes and requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco and SABIC work permit standards, procedures, and safety requirements; prior WPR experience on an Aramco/SABIC project will be considered an advantage
  • Good understanding of QA/QC requirements and inspection processes for Saudi Aramco/SABIC projects, including preparation, submission, and approval of Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Request for Inspection (RFIs), installation inspections, and related quality documentation.
  • Deep knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Saudi Aramco Materials System Specification (SAMSS), SABIC Engineering Standards (SES).
  • Skilled in troubleshooting instrumentation/control systems and electrical power issues on site.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Strong leadership, manpower coordination, communication, problem-solving, and site supervision skills.
