Position Summary

The Digital Account Manager supports the development and implementation of digital strategies across assigned client accounts. The role manages day-to-day client relationships, coordinates integrated digital projects, supports strategic planning, and oversees the development of digital, social media, content, and creative deliverables. The Account Manager works closely with internal specialists and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution, effective collaboration, and alignment with client objectives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Development & Planning

  • Support the development of digital and social media strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Contribute to channel plans, content frameworks, campaign approaches, and activation plans.
  • Translate client requirements and briefs into actionable digital recommendations and implementation plans.
  • Monitor digital performance, audience behavior, and industry trends to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute to proposal development, strategic recommendations, and new business opportunities where required.
  1. Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders through responsive communication and reliable delivery.
  • Support client meetings, status calls, presentations, planning discussions, and performance reviews.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, approvals, and client expectations across ongoing workstreams.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance account performance and support account growth initiatives.
  1. Creative Process & Content Management

  • Manage the creative development process from briefing through delivery across digital and social media projects.
  • Develop clear creative briefs outlining objectives, audiences, messaging requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with creative, content, design, video, web, and production teams.
  • Review deliverables to ensure alignment with client objectives, platform requirements, and brand guidelines.
  • Consolidate and communicate client feedback to support efficient review and approval processes.
  • Help ensure creative outputs remain aligned with strategy, timelines, and quality expectations.
  1. Account Management & Delivery

  • Manage the delivery of digital projects and campaigns across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate timelines, resources, approvals, dependencies, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks or delivery challenges.
  • Support budgeting, scope management, and reporting requirements for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure deliverables are reviewed, quality checked and delivered according to agreed timelines.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, communications, or account management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital communications, social media, and content marketing.
  • Good strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage creative and content development processes.
  • Excellent project management, organization, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing client accounts in an agency or consulting environment.
  • Experience coordinating integrated digital campaigns and content initiatives.
  • Experience working with creative, content, and production teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, content planning, and campaign implementation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic capability is an advantage where relevant to the role.
