Senior/Manager, Physical Activity

[What the role is]

The Health Promotion Board’s vision is to make Singapore a nation of healthier people.
Come be a part of this journey if you’re passionate about creating boundary-pushing work that drives behavioral change.

You will be part of HPB’s Physical Activity Department, within the Physical Activity and Healthy Ageing Division, dedicated to making active living a cornerstone of daily life. The department empowers residents to stay active by providing the knowledge, opportunities, and support needed to build sustainable habits. The department designs and delivers impactful programmes, from physical activity initiatives to literacy and community-driven efforts, ensuring residents have the knowledge and opportunities to stay active. By partnering with government agencies, industry leaders, and key stakeholders, it expands access to inclusive, high-quality physical activity options across daily routines and leisure time. Grounded in evidence informed, data-driven insights and capability development, the department evolves its strategies and work to drive participation, enhance well-being, and embed active living as a way of life.

[What you will be working on]

As a key member of Physical Activity and Healthy Ageing Division, you will play an integral role in the planning and execution of nationwide physical activity strategies and programmes.

  • A central part of your role will be driving the digital exercise prescription framework through Healthy 365, where you will be the bridge between policy intent and digital reality.
  • You will craft and communicate the product roadmap, distil framework into clear user flows and functional requirements, and work hand-in-hand with platform and IT teams to bring the digital experience to life.
  • You will design and run pilots to test how real users respond – defining what success looks like, selecting the right use cases, and curating content that resonates.
  • You may also lend your expertise to other digital physical activity initiatives, curating suitable content and resources so as to spark and sustain healthy habits among residents across Singapore.

[What we are looking for]

Join us if you are a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a highly matrixed, dynamic and fast-paced environment. You should also possess:

  • Good analytical skills and attention to details, including the ability to structure ambiguous issues, develop practical solutions and improve processes for more efficient delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage and address the different needs and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track record in managing and implementing community-based programmes, with experience in physical activity, service design or related areas being an advantage.
  • Experience in digital product development, user journey design, programme digitalisation or testing of digital solutions would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work with subject matter experts and operational teams to curate evidence-informed content, support user testing and translate ideas into workable implementation plans.
