Product Manager (Fleet Management System)

  • Eurowag
  • Bratislava, Slovakia
  • €40,800

Eurowag is consolidating five acquired telematics platforms (WebEye, Webdispečink, dispecer.sk, CVS, Inelo) into one product, Eurowag Office FMS, and building on top of it a digital dispatcher and an end-to-end order-to-invoice flow for European road carriers. As aProduct Manager, you'llown the outcomes of one product area inside this platform (for example fuel management, trip log & tachograph data, alerts & notifications, driver terminal, live map & dispatching, or partner integrations and the public API) and is accountable for turning the FMS strategy into validated, shipped customer value.

This role sits in a product trio with the engineering lead and the product designer of a delivery team. You will decide what the team builds and why, prove it with customers and data, and be measured on adoption, retention, and revenue of the product area, not on features delivered.

Responsibilities

Product discovery and strategy

  • Own the vision, roadmap and quarterly initiatives of the assigned product area, aligned with the FMS strategy (legacy migration and decommissioning, gap closure, Digital Dispatcher, Load-to-Money) and with the OKRs of the domain.
  • Run continuous discovery: customer visits and interviews with dispatchers, fleet managers and drivers, competitor and market analysis, prototype testing with Design.
  • Formulate hypotheses and business cases; decide what not to build; prioritise using value, effort, risk and strategic fit.

Delivery and execution

  • Lead the product trio of one delivery team; own the backlog in Jira, write epics and user stories with clear customer value and acceptance criteria, keep the Definition of Ready.
  • Slice scope into Testable / Usable / Lovable increments, run client tests and pilots, decide on release readiness and go-live.
  • Manage dependencies with other FMS teams and with platform teams.

Technical product ownership

  • Understand the FMS technology stack end to end: telematics units and CAN / FMS-standard data, tachograph and driver-card data, GNSS positioning and maps, data pipelines, cloud back-end and the public API.
  • Specify integrations with partners and third parties (TMS, ERP, fuel and toll systems, OEM telematics, hardware vendors) and own the API contract for the product area together with the API team.
  • Read and challenge technical designs, RFCs and solutioning proposals; translate technical constraints into product decisions and vice versa.
  • Own the data model and data quality of the product area (events, trips, fuel, positions) as an input to reporting, alerts and AI features.

Go-to-market and stakeholders

  • Work with Sales, Customer Success, Support and Marketing across HU, RO, PL, CZ / SK and further markets: product training, sales enablement, release notes, pricing and packaging input for FMS tiers and bundles.
  • Present roadmap, results and trade-offs to senior leadership (CPTO, CCO, ExCo materials) clearly and with supporting evidence.

Measurement and reporting

  • Define and track outcome metrics of the area (activation, feature adoption, retention, migration progress, revenue, NPS, support load) and act on them.
  • Contribute the area's part of the FMS monthly and quarterly business reviews; keep documentation in Confluence current.

Requirements

  • 3+ years as a Product Manager or Product Owner of a B2B software product with real customers, ideally in SaaS, logistics, telematics, fintech or IoT.
  • Track record of owning a product area end-to-end: discovery, definition, delivery, launch, and measurement, with evidence of outcomes (adoption, revenue, retention).
  • Proven ability to work with engineers on technical topics: reads system designs and API specifications, understands data flows, discusses architecture trade-offs credibly.
  • Hands-on experience with an outcome-driven product model (product trio, dual-track discovery, hypothesis-driven delivery, OKRs) and with agile delivery in Jira and Confluence.
  • Analytical and data-literate: defines metrics, works with product analytics and SQL / BI outputs, builds simple business cases.
  • Strong communication in English: writes clear specs and one-pagers, presents to senior stakeholders, facilitates workshops with customers and sales.

Bonus Knowledge:

  • Technical education (informatics, software engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications, transport engineering) or an equivalent technical background, e.g. former developer, solution architect, integration or data engineer.
  • Experience with integration products: REST / SOAP APIs, webhooks, streaming, data exchange with TMS / ERP systems, partner and developer-portal management.
  • Exposure to AI / data products (ETA prediction, driving-style scoring, assistants for dispatchers).
  • Experience with pricing and packaging of SaaS tiers.
